Dr Abigail Miranda
Dr Abigail Miranda worked with children and young people for 5 years prior to commencing the Doctorate in Educational and Child Psychology at UCL. She has worked in London as an Educational and Child Psychologist, in a range of independent and maintained mainstream and specialist settings, with children and young people aged 0-25. Dr Miranda is an Inclusion Panellist for the Department for Education’s Standards and Testing Agency. Within this role, she provides advice to make educational assessments more inclusive for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities. Dr Miranda has a background in Social Care and is trained in the Triple P parenting programme. She is a facilitator of the Special FRIENDS CBT approach. Dr Miranda is also trained to carry out the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) assessment.
