Dr Andrew Siddaway

Dr Siddaway works with children, adolescents, and adults and particularly specialises in assessing and treating psychological problems related to trauma and stressful life events, and risk assessment and management for suicide and non-suicidal self-injury (self-harm). He has worked in a range of NHS mental health services for over eleven years, including specialist psychological trauma services for the past four years. Dr Siddaway currently splits his week between an NHS specialist psychological trauma service, expert witness assessments, private psychological therapy, and conducting and supervising research. He has a professional doctorate in Clinical Psychology and a Psychology PhD that particularly focused on psychometrics (measurement and assessment). Dr Siddaways’ doctorates and extensive clinical experience and training means that he brings a depth and breadth of knowledge of psychological science and psychometrics to expert witness work
