Dr Andy Siddaway particularly specialises in the areas of trauma and risk. He has worked in a range of NHS mental health services for over 12 years, including specialist psychological trauma services for the past 7 years. He works with children, adolescents, and adults and currently split my week between NHS clinical practice, expert witness assessments, conducting and supervising research, and some private psychological therapy.
Dr Siddaway has a professional doctorate in Clinical Psychology and a Psychology PhD that focused on the measurement and assessment of suicide and self-harm. His doctorates and extensive clinical experience and training mean that he brings a depth and breadth of knowledge of psychological science and evidence-based practice to expert witness work. Most of his expert work is in the area of family law, although he also works on personal injury, clinical negligence, and immigration cases.
