Dr Claire Ogilvie

Dr Ogilvie is a registered Clinical Psychologist and holds chartered status with the British Psychological Society. She is currently employed by NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde as a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and lead for psychological interventions for mental health across the prison estate. She is also the Honorary Secretary for the Division of Clinical Psychology Scotland. In addition to the provision of therapy for mental health and offending behaviour problems, Dr Ogilvie is experienced in the assessment of violence risk (general violence, sexual violence, domestic violence, stalking, and internet sex offending) and in the assessment of personality disorder.

Dr Ogilvie also has experience in mental health and neuropsychological assessment with both offending and non-offending populations. She regularly provides teaching to other professionals and consultancy to NHS staff and external agencies. As part of private practice, she provides reports to the courts on various psychological matters as an expert witness, but primarily in relation to risk and mental health assessment. Dr Ogilvie has also provided medico legal reports, as well as individual therapy to private clients (predominantly CBT, but more recently CAT and ACT).
