Dr Elinor Sason

Dr Elinor Sason is a Consultant Counselling Psychologist specialising in assessment and intervention of parents, children, couples and families.  She works extensively with children with developmental and attachment disorders as well as mental health problems.  She has a broad experience of parents presenting with mental health problems, substance misuse and personality disorder.  She offers specialist assessments of parental risks associated with harm to children.  She has undergone specialist training in assessments and interventions for parental rejection, parental alienation and contact disputes.  

Dr Sason works therapeutically with children and adults but also couples and families. She has specialist training in a broad range of treatments including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), psychodynamic, humanistic and systemic therapies.
