Dr Geoffrey Isaacs

Dr Isaacs is a consultant psychiatrist, recently retired from the NHS to concentrate on his private practices. A member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists since 1985 and on its specialist register in General Adult Psychiatry. He has private practices in London and East Anglia. He has over 25 years’ experience in producing medico-legal reports in civil, criminal and family matters (approx. 50 cases a year). He is approved under Section 12 of the Mental Health Act 1983 and served as a Medical Member on Medical Health Review Tribunals for the Lord Chancellor’s office. Dr Isaacs has particular interest in mood disorders namely anxiety, depression and bipolar affective Disorder as well as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, a field in which he specialised when in the military.
