Dr Laura Bach Clinical Psychologist

Dr Laura Bach is a Clinical Psychologist specialising in the assessment and treatment of neuropsychological disorder.  She is currently the lead neuropsychologist responsible for an inpatient unit treating neurological injuries and disorders including TBI, Stroke, Infection, Tumour, Guillam Barre, and progressive neurological disorders, including Multiple Sclerosis, MND and Parkinson’s Disease.  She has also set up and provide a rehabilitation service to patients with Functional Neurological Disorders (FND).

She has worked in post-acute inpatient neurorehabilitation and community based rehabilitation across the NHS, private and charity sectors. I have experience of working with brain injury clients who have complex cognitive, emotional, and behavioural presentations and care needs.

She is an honorary research fellow and teaches post graduate psychology and PhD students.  She has also worked as an expert witness since 1998 (prosecution 70% and defence 30%) specialising specialist neurodiagnostic assessments in complex high-value injury cases.  She received the Expert witness of the Year Award in 2018.
