Dr Marta Lopez

Dr Marta de Madariaga Lopez is a chartered Clinical Psychologist specialising in the assessment of adults and parents within the family courts where there are concerns about parenting, mental health, cognitive deficits and/or domestic violence.

Dr de Madariaga Lopez brings over 10 years of post-qualification experience of working within NHS Adult Mental Health Services. Dr de Madariaga Lopez is a specialist in psychological trauma and works with adolescents, adults and families who have been through highly distressing events as well as with frontline personnel. She has undertaken training in EMDR and CBT for complex trauma (NICE recommended approaches for trauma).

She has worked in medium secure units with adults whose psychological difficulties have brought them in to contact with the Criminal Justice System (CJS).
