Dr Miguel Montenegro is a Clinical Psychologist and Neuropsychologist providing psychological services to people over the age of 16 years. He is a psychotherapist, and provides a range of therapies, including ACT, EMDR. He is a medico-legal neuropsychological assessor for court cases for clients who experienced road-traffic accidents, medical negligence, work accidents, trauma, human trafficking, displaced people, and victims of modern slavery.
He provides cognitive and neuropsychological assessments, ADHD and Autism assessments, learning disability assessments, mental capacity assessments, testamentary capacity assessments, and more. He works with most psychological difficulties such as anxiety, depression, bipolar, psychosis, low self-esteem, PTSD, Borderline Personality Disorder, and so on. His other area of work includes issues related to brain injury, dementia and learning disabilities.
Dr Montenegro has worked for the NHS and charitable organisations, e.g. Mersey Care NHS Trust, the Walton Centre NHS Trust, St Helens NHS Trust; the Priory Group, and St Andrews Healthcare. He has provided services for the Home Office, Local Authorities, CCGs, MoJ, and employers.
He is based in Liverpool for face-to-face appointments in a lovely welcoming location in the Baltic Triangle – Liverpool City Centre, but also works remotely with clients who are all over the UK and the world.
