Dr Parashar Ramanuj

Dr Ramanuj is a Psychiatrist in Pain and Neurorehabilitation Medicine at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (RNOH), London, where he is Clinical Lead of the London Spinal Cord Injury Centre and Chief Medical Information Officer. He is a member of the Operational Delivery Group for Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) rehabilitation, responsible for directing SCI rehabilitation at a national level and the Clinical Reference Group, responsible for setting national standards for SCI rehabilitation. He also has expertise in pain medicine, having been on the NICE Committee for the first guidelines on the safe prescribing of medicines used in chronic pain management. He has extensive experience of research as a past Harkness Fellow at Columbia University in New York, has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications, chapters and editorials and regularly speaks at international policy and research forums.
