Dr Vikki Taylor
Dr Vikki Taylor is a HCPC registered clinical psychologist with experience in working within the NHS, social care and education settings. She has experience working with children, young people and families and most extensively with ‘looked after’ children. She has a particular interest in working with children and families who have experienced relational trauma, including neglect, with her post-qualified career spent working with children and young people in the foster care system. She has over 5 years’ experience providing consultation and training to social workers and professional networks supporting children in foster care.
Dr Taylor has over nine years’ experience working in the field of mental health. She is competent in assessment and intervention, both on an individual and systemic level and particularly enjoys working creatively with young people and their networks in a trauma informed way.
