Dr Maria Knapp

Dr Maria Knapp is a Clinical Psychologist with over 17 years’ experience within the NHS, working with children, young people and their families in a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS)and physical health/hospital settings. Dr Knapp currently runs a busy independent practice working therapeutically with children (3-17 years) and adults presenting with a wide variety of mental health difficulties, including trauma and developmental trauma.  She also provides specialist Primary Mental Health Assessments to a local NHS Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service.  She works as an expert witness within the Civil Courts reporting on child and adult disorders.
