Dr Nick Palmer

Dr Nick Palmer is a dynamic and experienced practitioner psychologist (Child & Education) and Narrative Therapist. He has published widely and worked extensively throughout the United Kingdom.

Nick set-up and was Programme Director of the initial doctorate training for Educational and Child Psychologists in the East of England. He has held posts as an Honorary Lecturer at the University of Manchester and as a research supervisor at the University of Sheffield. He has contributed to similar programmes throughout the UK. Nick has been a maingrade and senior local authority psychologist, and has worked in private practice since 2023.

Nick is a BPS trained Expert Witness and has advanced training in the Mental Capacity Act (MCA), the Court of Protection (COP), and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS). Nick is able to undertake both standardised and dynamic assessment, alongside the full range of psychological services.
