Dr Fry has been in practice as a Consultant Psychiatrist since 1996. He spent ten years in the NHS as a Clinical Child and Family Psychiatrist, latterly as Clinical Lead and Director in two services, before leaving to set up in Independent practice. Prior to becoming a Child and Family Specialist he trained as an Adult Psychiatrist.
In his time at CAMHS Dr Fry frequently worked with parents with Mental Health issues, and always involved the whole family on. His early interests were Individual Psychotherapy, Family Therapy and Systems issues; he moved through that into whole person-based practice and more latterly formal training in Functional Medical approaches and work in an Integrative Psychiatric capacity.
