Ms Camilla Poncia is a Counselling Psychologist who specialises in assessment and intervention for children with a broad range of developmental or attachment difficulties. She also works with parents with mental health, personality or parenting problems.

She has over 13 years’ experience working with adults in the NHS and with children and their families in the NHS, the charitable and private sector.   She has conducted numerous assessments of adults and children with a wide range of mental health difficulties. She has an extensive background in therapeutic interventions with a strong emphasis on trauma focussed work an the impact that this can have on adult mental health and personality.

She has a detailed understanding of adults with complex issues and mental health problems and the impact on parenting. She also currently works with children with mental health issues in her therapeutic capacity and supports their families through their difficulties in her own full time private practice.

She has worked as an expert witness since 2013 and has undergone specialist training as an expert witness.  She gives both written and oral evidence to the courts on a regular basis.
